Just Saying… (#4 in a series)
I would love to see a viable BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system happen in NYC. There are plans to have one line in each borough. If I won’t see a 2nd Ave Subway in my lifetime, this is the next best thing.
But if I’m on 62nd St with a big bulky package and I see 4 “Limited” buses (think express bus stops without express bus speed) go by my stop before I decide to walk to 82nd St, there’s something wrong. If I don’t see any local buses go by while I’m walking home, there’s something terribly wrong.
BRT will only work if there’s a working local service available. And amid all these budget cuts, I don’t know how that will happen.

T-Mobile and the magenta color are federally registered trademarks of Deutsche Telekom AG.
Stick together is a federally registered trademark of T-Mobile USA, Inc.
So if I say “we need to stick together or we won’t make it through this” I need to pay money to T-Mobile?

So Sarah Palin and her daughter are considered brave because the younger is keeping her not-conceived-in-wedlock child and is marrying the father. But millions of other women who may do this are a drain on society because many of them don’t have stable jobs or adequate education.

Just saying…
In this time of fiscal “responsibility”, where Joe Q Public realizes that America as a whole has to tighten its collective belt and pay down its debt, why can America as a government spend as much as it wants and not worry about, oh I don’t know, other people/companies/governments calling a collecting agency, like us poor schmucks?
