OK, why haven’t I been watching Damages before this? Yeah, I thought it was just another lawyer show, but I finally followed the advice of a few people and started watching it. Unfortunately, I have work tomorrow, or I’d still be watching it right now. It’s freakin’ unbelievable! The manipulation Glenn Close has over the other people in this show reminds me of the Marquise in Dangerous Liaisons. This time it’s to win a case – and she’ll do anything to get her way. No spoilers here; you get that in the first episode. Watch it!
Oh, and start following Edward Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Life. Drawing and surreal storyline remind me of Edward Gorey. You should start from the beginning, but the archive isn’t that long yet. Excellent stuff.

Dave Coulier made it into a political comic strip. Weird…

Just saying (# whatever in an occasional series)
If the Tea Party really have a problem with the Occupy Wall Street protesters being too white, maybe they should remember that in New York, three or more black people hanging out in one place is considered a gang, and they’ll get arrested even if they did nothing wrong.

Shameless plug
So if you didn’t know, I have a catering company called Triple L Desserts. I made a King’s cake today for the inaugural Fat Tuesday at The Way Station (see below) and here is a Twitter quote from a satisfied customer: “I am eating caek [sic] so good that I either wanna rub it on my tits or slap somebody.” And it was a good fake Mardi Gras. ‘Nuf said.
