But it’s so early
Why are there night people? Or, to put it a better way, why are we forced to wake up at an ungodly hour to work for 8 hours only to get our second wind at 10 pm?
How’s about the people who don’t have to deal with customers (like myself) and only work on a database (like myself) and aren’t morning people (definitely like myself) come in and leave at a later time? It’s 11 at night and I figure I could be doing work for the Co-op for another 3 hours. I’d get so much done!
But I don’t get my second wind until well after I’m done with work, which means I’m usually too tired to go to the gym, so I’m always tired, I’m overweight, and I don’t get any unpaid work done except for over the weekend. That stresses me out (I want to get my backlog done), which makes me gain more weight and drink too much.
Yes, my volunteering shouldn’t make me stressed. It wouldn’t if I didn’t have to pay bills. I could work when I wanted, get lots more exercise, read the books I want to read. Even working later would help my frame of mind. Walking up without an alarm clock means I’m more alert, so I’m more productive.
OK, time to go to bed, I guess.

I finally got to wake up WITHOUT an alarm, but I don’t like the shape I’m in !
