These are what have been taking up my time, even though I’ve been lax in the third one as well (sorry!) I’m still trying to get some Japanese lessons in (via Rosetta Stone – I’m only up to the 2nd lesson) And I hope to be taking classes in the fall to become a pastry chef.
But I got to see Alison Bechdel at Barnes & Noble last week! She signed my book! I was a dork in front of her!
If you like AB’s Dykes To Watch Out For, she’s getting an award at the MoCCA Art Festival on June 23rd. And right after that is Keith Knight, writer of K Chronicles and (th)ink. Two of my favorite comic artists, appearing back to back, for only 8$! If that ain’t a Life’s Little Victory, I don’t know what is.
