Beautiful Waste of Time
I’m addicted to these logic puzzles called “Paint By Number” by Games Magazine (no URL available) or “Pic-A-Pix” by Conceptis Puzzles. They were started in Japan and have gained worldwide following. And they’re very, extremely, sometimes horribly addictive. Anyway, I downloaded a puzzle of the Holy Family, by Michelangelo. Here’s a picture of the original painting. After fighting with Adobe Acrobat over control of printing the damn thing out the way I wanted it, I finally sat down to work. 27 hours and 45 minutes (spread out over several days) later, I let the stubs of my colored pencils fall from my cramped hand and declared the picture finished. That is actually absolutely fascinating. Go you. I started it, at the top though. And didn’t get very far…….

Your recent contradictory comments both amuse and baffle me. Apparently I do know art :p
And if you persist on doing this puzzle, try from the side, where the numbers are higher…
